Principal’s Message
Assalamu ‘alaikumwarahmatullahiwabarakatuh
Congratulations and thank you to all our Board Members, staff, parents and students for your combined efforts in working together towards achieving a positive and nurturing school culture filled with many great opportunities, experiences and achievements both within and outside the classroom.
Al Noori Muslim School values the strong relationships between staff, parents, students and the wider community. Together we will help prepare today’s students to become tomorrow’s leaders equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge for success in this life and the hereafter.
Congratulations to the Year 12 cohort for all receiving placements at university. Congratulations also to our Year 3, 5, 7 and 9 students who, as expected, have outperformed the state in all areas of both literacy and numeracy in the NAPLAN. I would like to thank the students, parents and teachers for their tireless efforts in their pursuit for academic excellence.
more unprecedented opportunities our students experienced. Our students made us proud on the sports field as well. They continue to lead the way in the Islamic School Gala Days/Faith Field Gala Days, BacharHouli Cup, soccer, AFL, touch football, Tri Sports Go Active Girls competitions and of course their talents and success at the athletics carnivals.
The Student Representative Council also needs to be congratulated for their tremendous efforts. They continued to raise money for a considerable number of orphans, Bandage Bear (Westmead Children’s Hospital), Pedal 4 kids (Sydney Children’s Hospital in Randwick), the MS Walk and Fun Run, Walk Safely to School Day and the various Ramadan activities. Congratulations to our students for coming first in the national B Street Smart Film competition.
Congratulations and thank you once again to all board members, staff, parents and students for making Al Noori Muslim School the success it is. We thank Allah (SWT) for our continued success and look forward to another rewarding year.
Wassalaam
