Camp
Students accompanied by their teachers will venture for 3 days of fun and learning outside of the classroom. The theme of the camp is “Loving Allah and His Prophet (Peace be Upon Him)”.
Students also learn the value of team work through their activities and learn skills to become independent individuals by sleeping away from home in a well-structured and supervised environment.
Boys
Participants will have an incredible experience with students involved in a multitude of activities. The camp also caters for our students’ spiritual needs as a number of small reminders will be prepared and given by our Year 10 students after daily prayers.
Students also enjoy a variety of recreational and sports activities such as canoeing, giant swing, soccer, cricket, touch, basketball and last but not least, the dodge ball tournament, which is one of many highlights.
Girls
The aim of the students’ camp is to enjoy the company of their peers, participate in sports and other planned activities and most importantly to participate in spiritual activities.
The girls are able to enjoy several activities each day including Canoeing, Indoor Sky Diving, Giant Swing, Luna Park, High Ropes Course, BBQ, Picnics and Tree Tops.
Ramadan
In Ramadan, the students of Al Noori Muslim School will indulge themselves in a plethora of rewarding activities; Islamic talks will be given by the Circles of Light group about Quran or the Sahabah, as well as general recitation of the Holy Quran in the hall. While there will be a minority who do not realise that these undertakings are blessings in disguise, all of us, God willing, will be able to acquire a great deal of reward.
Being the month of giving, the donations for the Orphan Sponsorship Program are copious and since the rewards for charity are multiplied, it pays off to be jannah-rous.
The School Iftar is a significant night for the Al Noori community, as they are able to come together to celebrate the many blessings of the holy month. Students are always eager to break their fast with their peers and teachers, making for a beautiful annual gathering, which we will be looking forward to next year inshallah.
SRC
SRC members engage in a number of paramount and significant projects. One of the major projects this year was raising $10,000 in Term 1 for the Leukaemia Foundation. The project was an overwhelming success for the team led by our SRC captains. A ceremony was organised to hand over the cheque to the Leukaemia Foundation.
The orphan sponsorship program has also continued its success for the fourth year running as the high school students are now sponsoring over 15 orphans worldwide!
The SRC also participated in a number of other events such as Walk Safely to School Day, MS Walk, World’s Biggest Breakfast, Anzac Day Ceremonies, Circles of the Lights during the holy month of Ramadan and many others. It has been a privilege working with the current SRC members and we look forward to working with many more in the future.
Thank you to all SRC members particularly our prefects for their astounding success and achievements. We also ask Allah SWT to reward their efforts and keep their intentions for His sake.

Senior Campus Umrah Trip
It is the wish of every Muslim to go to the Holy Masjid in Makkah Al Mukarramah and to the Prophet’s Masjid in Al Madinah Al Munawwarah to perform Umrah and Hajj.
Umrah is a spiritual journey that brings the Muslim closer to Allah the Almighty in order to receive lots of blessings. Umrah is not just a religious practice but it also is an uplifting experience that enhances our spirit and soul. By going through this spiritual journey, Muslims are able to understand their religion that little extra by visiting all of the remarkable places which have a huge role in Islamic history.
Students at Al Noori Muslim School are given the opportunity to participate and be part of the Umrah program which allows them to experience this spiritual sensation from the moment they arrive at the city of our beloved Prophet Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him.
This spiritual sensation becomes visible on the students’ faces as soon as they arrive at the Holy Masjid in Makkah and they sight the Ka’bah for the first time. The students’ sense of excitement and connectivity is evident as they maketawaf (circumambulations) around the Ka’abah, supplicating and offering prayers and invocation to Allah the Almighty.
An eternal relationship will be developed during the whole journey between the students and Allah the Almighty. Due to this relation, students often cite a renewed motivation and intention to do lots of good deeds and to put faith into action.
Umrah is such an amazing journey that makes the Iman (Faith) of every Muslim refreshed by living Islam practically. We, Al Noori Muslim School, ask Allah to accept our deeds, to get us closer to Him in this world and the hereafter, and to protect our youthfrom tribulations and wrongdoings. We also ask Allah to reward everyone who participates in the Umrah group and we hope that it inspires them to become role models who will lead by example in their communities.
